Opioid Crisis and the Criminalization of Pregnant Women Research Briefings
SisterReach hosted research briefings in Washington, D.C. and Memphis, TN in early 2019, centered on the Opioid Crisis and Criminalization of Pregnant Women. The successful effort was largely accomplished because of the diligence of our principal researcher, Dr. Orisha Bowers. Thank you, Orisha!
We are also grateful for the partners who joined and invested in our efforts through sponsorship for the events: National Advocates for Pregnant Women, IBIS Reproductive Health, Tennessee Senator Katrina Robinson, and Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen.
